Use case
Eye break reminder for desk work
Desk work is where 20-20-20 reminders either fit the calendar or become noise. The useful version runs in your work window and stays quiet when you stand up.
What to set
- Start and end hours that match when you actually sit at a screen.
- Weekdays by default, if weekends are not desk days (custom days are Pro).
- Pause for calls; skip a single break rather than turning the whole app off.
Notifications at a shared desk
You can keep sound off and use vibration, or rely on the widget if a banner would be awkward. Eye Rest’s reminder copy is “time for a short eye break,” not an alarm-clock panic.
How Eye Rest helps
Work hours, pause, skip, rest now, and widgets are in the free app. Quiet mode is Pro, for stretches when you cannot be interrupted at all.
