Terms of use
Last updated: 7 September 2026. These terms cover the Android app Eye Rest (package tq.tech.eyerest).
What the app is
Eye Rest is a reminder to look away from a screen using the 20-20-20 pattern. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a treatment for any condition. If your eyes hurt or your vision changes, talk to a qualified clinician.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app on Android devices you own or control, subject to Google Play’s terms.
Free and Pro
The default 20-minute interval, 20-second break, weekday-style schedule, pause/skip/rest now, themes, and this week’s stats are available without paying. Eye Rest Pro — Lifetime is an optional one-time in-app product. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. Restore purchases from the paywall if you reinstall on the same Google Play account.
Price is set in Google Play and may vary by country. We do not promise every future feature under Pro; the paywall describes Pro capabilities in the current app.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with billing, or use it in a way that violates law. Reminders depend on Android battery and alarm rules; we do not guarantee a notification at an exact second on every device.
Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for missed reminders, lost work time, or health outcomes. Consumer rights in your country still apply.
